Amelia’s Project: Project Aging

Hi, my name is Amelia and I am the Founder and President of Rophe Healthcare Adult Day Service Center. I am a Registered Nurse with a passion for Senior Care. This blog is created to bring awareness to the care needs of our increasing +65 population. Many seniors are concerned about where and how they will be able to afford quality care. Many seniors desire to receive care in their homes. Many seniors do not have pension and IRA accounts to secure their healthcare expenses.

Did we as a country foresee the census of baby boomers? Did we as a country expect our seniors to “expire” 5-10 years after retirement age? We need to understand as a nation, how are our seniors
are aging. They deserve our effort to incite change.
